Learn Japanese Fast by Focusing on Grammar Instead of Vocabulary

One of the best ways to learn Japanese fast is to focus your effort on learning your Japanese grammar lessons.  Don’t waste you time with the nouns.  Nouns are easy and all they require is for you to sit down and memorize them.  But if you can really grasp the sentence structure, then you’ll find that learning Japanese is a lot faster.  All you need to do is take a moment to look up the the right nouns, and if you already know how to put a sentence together properly, you’ll be able to say or write what you want with ease.

This is the real secret to learning conversational Japanese and making you fluent in practically no time at all.

Learn Japanese Fast by Going to Japan

Another great way to learn Japanese in practically no time is to go to Japan.  Being immersed directly into the language for days or weeks on end will literally force you to learn Japanese very quickly if for no other reason than you really need to in order to get by.

I studied Japanese in college, but I found that over the years I forgot a good deal of what I had learned.  When I went to Tokyo several years later, I found that little bits of my Japanese started to come back to me for no real explainable reason at all.  I would simply just have these inner nudges telling me to say certain things at certain times, and I wasn’t even sure why or what I was saying.  I even learned a lot of new phrases and words while I was over there too.

If you can’t just get on a plane and go to Japan, try to surround yourself with Japanese culture and people that speak Japanese.  Maybe you could go to a Japanese restaurant and try ordering your food in Japanese.

Learn Japanese Fast by Listening to Native Speakers

You might also think about getting some Japanese CD’s or audio and listening to them in your spare time.  This is even better if the audio is of native Japanese being spoken, not instructional lessons which tend to be slower than actual conversational Japanese.

Don’t worry if you can’t understand what they are saying.  If you combine this with any studying you are doing, you’ll learn very quickly.  You’ll get used to the sound and cadence of the Japanese language and you’ll find that your pronunciation become much better very quickly.

So you see learning Japanese can actually come a lot quicker if you know how to take advantage of the right opportunities and spend your time doing the right things.  You can learn Japanese fast and start to become fluent by using these little tips and tricks.
